Back At It

Well, today has been a really busy day. I've had 5 people drop off computers, and I'm currently working frantically on a computer for the City where my office is located. There is nothing like dealing with extremely sensitive data to make you feel especially under pressure to get a computer knocked-out. Other than the above my work day has been fairly normal. Also here is a little shortcut I picked up a while back that has been especially helpful today with all the Skype re-installs I have been doing.

Quick way to get to Add/Remove Programs:

Windows Key+R - to open the run command box. Then type appwiz.cpl and hit enter.

  1. Huh, I never knew that. Does it work on all recent Windows operating systems?

  2. Yup, works on all Windows operating systems all the way back to Windows 98 I believe

  3. woah nice trick, saves going near the start menu and accidently clicking log off or shutdown XD

  4. shortcut works thanks it really made my workflow better

  5. Haha, yea thats never a good thing.

  6. Is there a list of some cool Windows shortcuts you could post? I got a cool thing: shake a window and all other windows minimize!!

+Followed. I'll be checking on this blog often, since it seems very useful!
